Normal visa application process for China (not visa-free)

1: Application process

(1): Fill in the form online. Please log in to https://cova.mfa.gov.cn to fill out the visa application form online. After completing the filling, print out the confirmation page and form, and sign the confirmation page and item 9 of the form.

(2): Submit the application. Applicants are required to submit application materials and have their fingerprints collected at the embassy in person during the opening hours of the embassy’s consular window.

*The following visa applicants are exempted from fingerprint collection, and those exempted from fingerprint collection can entrust others to submit visa applications.

(1): Persons under 14 years old or over 70 years old;

(2): Persons holding diplomatic passports or meeting the conditions for the issuance of diplomatic, service, or courtesy visas;

(3): Persons who have applied for a visa at the Chinese Embassy in Barbados with the same passport within five years and whose fingerprints have been retained;

(4): All ten fingers are missing or all ten fingerprints cannot be preserved.

2:Application materials

(1): Fill in and print the visa application form and confirmation page online;

(2): Original passport with a validity period of more than 6 months and a blank visa page and a copy of the information page;

(3): 1 original photo uploaded in the application form (frontal, bareheaded, color small 2-inch 48mm × 33mm photo within 6 months);

(4): Original Chinese passport or original Chinese visa (applicable to those who once had Chinese nationality and later became a foreign national);

(5): The original and copy of the valid residence permit in Brazil (Saint-Loup and Saint-Germain) (applicable to third-country citizens in Brazil, Saint-Loup and Saint-Germain);
